- All of our libraries will have crafts and storytimes throughout the holidays, with some special workshops which may require booking.

Marvellous Makers is the theme for the Summer Read-ing Challenge 2024 at Bedford Borough Libraries. It runs from Sat 13 July through to Sat 7 September and promises to be a free and exciting programme designed to keep children aged four to eleven engaged with read-ing throughout the summer holidays.
There will also be free craft activities running through-out the summer, such as junk modelling, pop-up pira-nha’s and dragon suncatchers. Lego clubs, craft clubs, and story times will also run through the holidays. Library events and activities can be found at :
